Overview[]
The Third Sacrifice also known as "the Forbidden Sacrifice", is a highly anticipated feature that has been confirmed by OutOfOrderFoxy to be coming in the future on this twitter post.
It has been confirmed that the Third Sacrifice symbol will be Z+, since it is the last letter of the English alphabet, and will be the last sacrifice in the game.
What We Know[]
You must beat the Heart of the Void and obtain The Forbidden Tome to perform your third sacrifice.
After performing the third sacrifice the symbol will be Z- until you fight Solumn to make it Z+. (This doesn't mean there's a fourth sacrifice).
The Third Sacrifice will bind your spirit to the fallen god of war Hendrix and be given his crown after speaking to his spirit.
Daegel will serve as an ally in the third sacrifice, going against Solumn to free him from his corruption.
According to OutOfOrderFoxy, performing this sacrifice will reward you these items:
- A Third Sacrifice item, which will be the Excelsis but not its old model and it won't be a resetter either.
- Awarded for completing the "Trial of Will" challenge at life Z-100.
- You will be able to craft the “True Ultimate Sacrifice” and the “True Final Upgrader” by enchanting the ruins of their respective items. These resetters will not work with each other, due to their gimmicks.
- An item related to Shards of Life (you will lose your shards of life upon sacrifice).
- An Everlasting Key that will make a Slipstream of your choice reborn proof, these locked Slipstreams will be weaker than their regular counterparts (for balancing purposes) and gain a tier which has been given the name 'Renegade' by Foxy.
It will also give you these perks:
- You get another Everlasting Key every 1000 lives.
- The Void Gate will finally open, allowing you to meet Daegel again and exchange your lives and some items for Reversion-tier items. These items are an alternate form of an evolved reborn item from a parallel universe and are even more powerful than their previous incarnation.
- You will be able to read the Forbidden Tome that you earn at the end of your journey through the Heart of the Void, and craft more powerful Superstitious items (Confirmed in Heart of the Void Update).
There are a few rules for those who perform the Third Sacrifice. These rules will last for the rest of the game, except escrow. Here are the currently known rules that players must abide by:
- ALL of your escrow and soul bound items will be locked away in the Grimstruct challenge, any game passes items and the forbidden tome of knowledge are immune to this, and will be given back immediately upon sacrifice
- The base rebirth price will be
$25DD instead of $25Qn. Be warned before doing the Third Sacrifice, as this price will only go higher. - Blueprints obtained from The Craftsman will NOT save when you sacrifice.
- A new NPC will be able to keep your shinies and trade them back to you after you peform The Third Sacrifice.
- More cash suffixes after
$CENT.
- It will double to e+614.

- If an item is red, the item will no longer exist in that state and will be replaced by a new item. This can be major or minor.
- If an item is dark gray, it is being retired.
- If an item is lime green, the item with finalized models in game.
- If their name is bold and italic, it has received updated models.
- Green-labeled tiers are new tiers.
- Blue marked items are new.
- Shinies are in bold and have a * before the name.
- Light Purple are changes in prefix or design being improved on.
- Dark Purple are changes in prefix and major change in design.
- Light yellow are changes that have been made to certain item's stats and descriptions.
